Project Overview
ISI Water was contracted to supply and install a 1.5 million US gallon per day (6,100 m3/d) SWRO system for supply of potable water to a major resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The project included reverse engineering and renovating an existing building (formerly an RO plant) to house the new RO equipment.
The SWRO System
The plant features FEDCO MSS high pressure pumps, FEDCO MSS boost pumps, ERI PX-260 energy recovery devices, Schneider Electric motor control center (VFDs for all process pumps), and Protec 1000 psi pressure vessels. The plant is fully automated with an OPTO22 control system designed, built and programmed by ISI Water.
